What We Do

What we do

A canopy of prayer over Canada

National House of Prayer is a national organization that cultivates networks of strategic intercessory prayer across the country. Together, these networks form a ‘house’ of prayer, just as we are one body in Christ.

We are headquartered in our nation’s capital so that we may perform research, interview Ministers and MPs, and stay current on the latest proposed legislation and issues facing our leaders and nation.

These insights are shared with our national network of praying partners—our national house—so that we may raise a canopy of intercessory prayer over our nation.

Government leaders and those in authority

I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. (Timothy 2:1-4)
