Today is Election Day, and we want to thank everyone who has joined our prayer calls and supported us in praying for our nation. As we focus on getting out the vote, I encourage everyone to make sure they vote, even if there are long lines—be persistent. Most importantly, volunteer to help others vote. Call your friends, family, and even your kids or grandkids to ensure they’ve cast their vote. Every voice matters at this crucial time. We will recap tomorrow and continue praying for the outcome, knowing that God has a plan for whichever leader emerges. Thank you for your faithfulness, and we’ll see you tomorrow.
Election Day: Get Out the Vote and Stay Persistent!
By Chris Byberg | Director, National House of Prayer
It’s the Big Day: Let’s Finish Strong
Speaking from Ottawa on Election Day, Chris Byberg shares a final encouragement for Canadians: today is the day to act. After weeks of prayer calls, gatherings in Ottawa and Toronto, and countless moments of intercession, the focus now shifts to getting out the vote.
Chris thanks everyone who has been faithfully praying and pressing in for Canada, emphasizing how crucial it is to show up and exercise your democratic voice.
“If you haven’t voted yet, go and vote. Stay in line if you have to. Be persistent.”
Practical Tips for Today
Chris gives simple but vital instructions:
-
Vote yourself if you haven’t already.
-
Volunteer to help others get to the polls.
-
Call your family and friends—make sure your kids, grandkids, and neighbors have voted too.
Every single vote matters. And every citizen has a voice that needs to be heard, especially in times like these.
Faithfulness Beyond Results
Chris also looks ahead, reminding viewers that regardless of today’s outcome—whether it’s “a boy” (an inside joke he shares warmly) or otherwise—the Church’s call remains the same:
“We will be faithful in whatever assignment the Lord gives us.”
Tomorrow, the NHOP team will release a recap video. But no matter who becomes Prime Minister, one truth stands firm: our mission to pray, intercede, and seek God’s will for Canada continues.
